French firms will have high participation in ICDDA. We know that Turkey is among the major players in the defense and aerospace sectors. As far as I can see from the OSSA presentation; 20 companies from France participated in the ICDDA event in 2016, and we plan to participate in ICDDA 2018 event as Business France this year. ICDDA is an important event for French companies in terms of seeing existing potential in Turkey. I think that especially workshops, conference programs and corporate travel are efficient in ICDDA. We will have high participation in the event as French companies.

We aim to develop our network in Turkey. We are working with Turkey since 20 years. We have a business partnership with big companies especially TAI, Turkish Airlines and TEI. As Airbus in future, we aim to improve our secondary supply chain network in Turkey. In this regard, we have already started the supplier development program. Now we are working with OSSA Cluster members Epsilon Composite, Yepsan and Küçük Pazarlı Aviation. We are conducting various studies to increase the capacity and capabilities of our suppliers. Our main goal is; to support these companies to be reliable suppliers on the market. Thus, supplier firms feel more strongly in international markets.

ICDDA is an important event in terms of seeing the available potential in Turkey's defense industry. As Airbus, we are honored to support ICDDA. Apart from Airbus and Boeing, big companies such as Safran and Thales are also participating in ICDDA. ICDDA brings SMEs to big companies and there is great potential for companies here.

We are pleased and excited to be able to match important actors and SMEs of defense and aerospace industries which will be participating from all around the world. Within the context of Industrial Cooperation Days in Defense & Aerospace, we believe that every other participant will widen their vision by interacting one and other. Being the leader of aerospace sector, TAI is pleased to support this organization, held in the center of defense & aerospace industry in Ankara, Turkey. When the growing regional and global importance as well as the distance-fold in the fields of defence, aviation and space in recent years is considered, Turkey has become a major player in the sector. In this context, I believe that the Turkish defence and aerospace companies will provide the maximum benefit from the synergy that will occur during the organization.
