Muharrem Dörtkaşlı, President & CEO of Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI), was born in Çankırı in 1961 and graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Middle East Technical University in 1983.

Dörtkaşlı, who started working at Turkish Aircraft Industries, Inc. (TUSAŞ) in 1991 as Program Control Office Leader, continued as Deputy General Manager between June 1997 – March 2003 and was promoted to the General Manager post in March 2003, where he served at this position until the dissolution of the Company

While a Board Member of TAI, he was entrusted as the President & CEO of the company in October 2005.

Dörtkaşlı is a member of both TUSAŞ Engine Industries, Inc. (TEI), the Defense Industry Manufacturers Organization (SaSaD) and Turkish-US Business Council of DEIK.
