Mr. Değirmencioğlu graduated from Army War Academy in 1987 as Communication and Information Systems Officer. He served at Kayseri Commando Brigade, İzmir NATO Headquarters, Napoli NATO Headquarters and Turkish Special Forces Command. Mr. Değirmencioğlu was retired from active duty in the year 2012. During his service as an officer he supported domestic security operations, NATO Operations in Bosnia and Kosovo and finally he serviced as Deputy Commander of Special Operations Component Command of NATO at Operation Unified Protector for Libya.

Mr. Değirmencioğlu is managing Defense Industry Strategic Business Division in ATEL Teknoloji ve Savunma Sanayi A.Ş. He is a PRINCE2 practitioner with two MSc degree on administrative sciences.
